A rendőrségbe vetett bizalom és a rendőrség hatékonysága közötti kapcsolat
Absztrakt
Az elmúlt évtizedekben számos tanulmány jelent meg, főként a nyugat-európai rendészeti szakirodalomban, amelyek a rendőrség társadalomban betöltött szerepét, működésük társadalmi hasznosságát és az eljárásaik hatékonyságával elért társadalmi bizalmi tényezőket vizsgálták. Ezek a tanulmányok számos olyan tényezőt tártak fel, amelyek közvetetten ugyan, de mérhetőek. Mindazonáltal a tudományos megközelítésekben eddig csupán elvont fogalmakként kezelték ezeket. Ide tartozik a rendőri intézkedések és eljárások jogszerűsége, legitimitása és tisztességessége. Ebben a tanulmányban azt kívánom bemutatni, hogy a rendőrség jelentős hatással lehet a közbizalomra, ha ezekre a tényezőkre jobban összpontosít. Különösen javíthatja a társadalmi tőkéjét, ha szervezeti hatékonyságának mérése során az eljárási igazságosság szempontjait helyezi előtérbe. A bizalom alakíthatósága azonban jelentősen megkérdőjelezhető egy olyan társadalomban, ahol a bizalom általános szintje már eleve alacsony.
