'Természetvédelmi Közlemények' is a fully Open Access journal, which means that the copyright holder of the articles grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). This allows for immediate free access to the work and permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.

The full text of all content is available for free and open access to all users without delay, immediately upon publication. There is no embargo period and there is no requirement for users to register to read content. The publication (and the submission) for the authors is free of charge.
