Keywords: Hungary, Székesfehérvár, tourism, climate protection, sustainability

Abstract

Our case study presents Székesfehérvár’s efforts toward sustainable tourism development, highlighting the expansion of green spaces, environmentally conscious solutions, and the role of protecting natural heritage. The city’s example effectively illustrates how sustainability can be integrated into tourism infrastructure. The projects analyzed are forward-looking across environmental, social, and economic dimensions alike. Our study aims to evaluate these initiatives and analyze their alignment with long-term sustainability goals.
