Abstract
The authors present the case of a 74-year-old female patient who developed a reddish-brown nodule on her neck and a purplish-red swelling on her left earlobe, accompanied with sudden onset of unilateral facial oedema. Biopsy and serological tests confirmed borrelia lymphocytoma. The patient fully recovered after amoxicillin therapy. In connection with the case report authors also summarize the recent, available diagnostic and therapeutic options for skin Lyme borreliosis.
