Kriminológiai kihívások a 21. században: AI és a modern technológia a bűnözők kezében

Absztrakt

A 21. században a bűnözés is előszeretettel használja a modern technológia vívmányait: az internetet, a mesterséges intelligenciát (MI) és az általuk életre hívott szintetikus médiát. Válaszul a nyomozó hatóságok maguk is segítségül hívják az MI-t arra, hogy felkutassák és azonosítsák a bűncselekmények elkövetőit. A modern technológia alkalmazása azonban ambivalens: míg egyfelől kitágulni látszik a világ a globális online térben, másfelől felmerül az állampolgárok nagy számának személyiségi jogai megsértésének lehetősége is. A jelen tanulmány ezt a jelenséget mutatja be egy konkrét jogeset elemzésén keresztül.
