Willingness to give way at signposted designated pedestrian crossings
Abstract
In our country, 92-94 percent of pedestrian collisions occur within residential areas, and more than 40 percent of these occur at designated pedestrian crossings, where pedestrians (those pushing their bicycles) have priority according to the current Road Traffic Act. In light of these numbers, it is extremely important to examine the circumstances and accident risk factors and formulate proposals for progress.References
