Mobility as a service: situation and development trends
Abstract
In a lecture delivered at the meeting held by the Scientific Committee on Transport and Vehicle Engineering of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, dedicated to „Mobility as a Service”,
the author makes an attempt to define the meaning and content of that concept. Referring to the historical development of technology leading to its creation, the objectives to be
achieved by its implementation and the target-groups of stakeholders are enumerated. The expected difficulties are also duly signalled. An overview of the strategic priorities and the already tested pilot projects is given, followed by a guesstimation of expected development opportunities.
