Information For Authors

Apis is an international, peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access journal dedicated to all aspects of honeybee and pollinator-related sciences, including beekeeping, apitherapy, bee biology, pollination ecology, technology, and rural development.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons licence CC BY-NC-ND, allowing free reading, downloading, copying, and linking for non-commercial purposes.

The journal operates on a community-driven, non-profit basis, without governmental or corporate funding.
Authors, reviewers, and editors work collaboratively to ensure that publication opportunities are accessible regardless of financial background.

Submission and Review

Manuscripts must be written in English (British spelling) and submitted online through the journal’s system:

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least three independent experts.
Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the work.
Reviewers are volunteers and do not receive any financial compensation for their contribution.
