A second European Axysta species (Diptera: Ephydridae)

Abstract

Axysta clausseni spec. nov. is described from Finland and Germany. All available names of European Axysta are discussed and Hydrina viridula Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 is placed as nomen dubium in the genus Hyadina (status rev.).
