Absztrakt

A tanulmány a külkereskedelem, a külföldi közvetlentőke-befektetések (foreign direct investment, FDI) és a globális értékláncok (global value chain, GVC) kapcsolatának a globalizáció új szakaszában történő átalakulását vizsgálja. A szakirodalom és a nemzetközi statisztikai adatok alapján amellett érvel, hogy a 2008–2009-es pénzügyi válságot követő időszakot nem a deglobalizáció, hanem a globalizáció működési logikájának átalakulása jellemzi. A tanulmány újszerű megközelítése, hogy a globalizáció új szakaszát a külkereskedelem, az FDI és a GVC-k egymással kölcsönhatásban álló rendszerének elemzésén keresztül értelmezi. Alapvető állítása, hogy e három terület nem vizsgálható egymástól elkülönítve, mivel azok egy egymást kölcsönösen alakító, egymással erősen összefüggő, integrált rendszert alkotnak. A technológiai változások, a geopolitikai rivalizálás és az állam megerősödő gazdaságszervező szerepe nyomán a korábbi, elsősorban hatékonyságmaximalizálásra és költségminimalizálásra épülő rendszer átalakult. A külkereskedelem, az FDI és a globális értékláncok továbbra is egymást erősítik, kapcsolatuk azonban új működési logika szerint szerveződik át, amelyben a gazdasági racionalitás mellett a gazdaságpolitikai és geopolitikai megfontolások is meghatározó szerepet játszanak. A tanulmány rámutat arra, hogy a 2024-ig rendelkezésre álló adatok alapján a világgazdaságban nem a globalizáció visszafordulása, hanem annak szerkezeti átalakulása figyelhető meg, miközben a 2025 utáni folyamatok hosszabb távú értelmezése egyelőre nyitott kérdés.
