Budapest airport's catchment area and its impact on the country's different areas
Abstract
The catchment area of an airport is related to several factors. Its geographic extent is influenced by the income of the society, travel times to the airport, national borders, proximity to competitors and ticket prices. The correlations identified help
decentralisation, infrastructure development, efficient tourism marketing, the choice of location by foreign companies and economic circulation.
