Article review: The relationship between the role in the peer hierarchy and mortality

Abstract

As with lower socio-economic status, children of lower peer status tend to have less power, influence and resources, which leads to poorer health. The aim of this study was to investigate whether lower peer status is associated with an increased risk of early death from any cause.
