Abstract

Autism spectrum disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder of a pervasive nature, with symptoms including difficulty in communication and social interaction, repetitive, repetitive behaviours and restricted interests. According to the World Health Organization, one in 100 children may be affected on the spectrum.
