Abstract

Our editors conducted an interview with Prof. Dr. Péter Szűcs, the Vice-Rector of the University of Miskolc, on the occasion of his election as a corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in May 2022. In our conversation, we covered three topics:
1. What is behind the international recognition of Hungarian hydrologists?
2. What makes research collaboration in this area necessary and how is the culture of collaboration developing?
3. In our third topic, we talked about water resources and their vulnerability.
