Transferring procurement knowledge and experience of multinational operations to Hungarian military training
Abstract
There are countless opportunities to acquire the desired capabilities, supplies and services within the domestic, foreign or even allied system through contracts, bi- or multilateral agreements. Nowadays, this means a rather complicated system, and to understand it, the appropriate professional preparation is essential. In order to be able to choose the most optimal options, cooperation with contractors, as well as, the knowledge of the different procurement procedures, processes and the various contracting technics are also necessary. That is why solutions and knowledge, seeking answers to the most current logistics support challenges of national or multinational operations, must be incorporated into the various levels of officer and military leadership training, and it is also advisable to develop practical skills.
