										Abstract
There has long been a division of opinion among economic schools of thought as to what extent the state should (or should not) intervene in market and economic processes. The permissible extent also defines the limits and frameworks of the state’s economic role. The conclusion of this work is that the tasks of the state can be well modeled by applying the network perspective in the analysis of certain issues of economic policy and areas of the economy – such as the defence sector.
