The Development of Russia’s Hybrid Warfare Theory With Regard to the Experiences Gained in Ukraine.

Abstract

The study examines the changes in the theory of hybrid warfare with special attention paid to the works of Russian military thinker, Aleksandr Bartosh. While, similarly to other Russian military experts, Bartosh attributes the use of hybrid warfare to the West, the author of the present study claims that Bartosh’s conclusions are actually based on Russian experiences of the war in Ukraine.
