Information Security for Public Administration: Predictable Incidents?
Abstract
The basic task of the state and its executive body – the state administration – is the primary objective to do the fundamental mission of state. Modern public administration services related to the construction of the digital state have become an effective, efficient and economical task. At the same time, however, it should not be forgotten that the protection and security of data stored, processed and transmitted in administrative systems must always be a priority. The tool to protect against physical and information security incidents is to develop a complex (information) security approach in public administration. The aim of the study is to demonstrate how approaches to probability and statistical analysis can be used to forecast security incidents and to build a more robust public administration.
