New Results in the Localization of the Battle of Mohács

Abstract

Two research teams are working on the location of the Battle of Mohács. One localized the battlefield, mainly by archaeological methods, to the east of the Majs, while the other, using geography and landscape reconstruction methods, near Sátorhely. In my paper I present the essential elements of the two research trends and their results.
