Prospects of the application of the Hungarian Defense Forces CIS support system in the mirror of the 21st century challenges

Abstract

The Communications and Information System (CIS) support of the Hungarian Defense Forces (HDF) has been constantly changing, developing and standing in line with the rapid development of technology and the modern warfare principles developed in the last decades. The development of tools and procedures can be observed from day to day, year after year. The knowledge and experience of CIS and Information Security (IS) experts, and the methods and means of HDF CIS and IS services represent a qualitatively new generation compared to the turn of the 21st century.
