Eras and different aspects in the State Security and National Security sphere

Abstract

The conference "State Security, National Security - once and today" was organized by the Hungarian Association of Military Science in cooperation with other organization and took place at the University of Pécs on the 19th October 2011. The main aim of the event was to oppose the differences of secret services before and following the Hungarian political transformation. The first session of the conference dealt with the historical state defence and state security organs between 1947 and 1950, while two sessions were about the current civil and military national security services.
