Mohay Károly - One of the last prisoners in Recsk

Abstract

The author of the article deals with Károly Mohay’s life and activity, military cadet, a second lieutenant engineer, prisoner of Recsk Forced Labour Camp, and civil engineer. Károly Mohay was graduated from Bolyai János Military Engineering Academy and took his military oath on November 15th 1944, few month later he became prisoner of war in an American Camp. After his release due to false accusation he was sentenced to three year in Recsk Forced Labour Camp. His life is part of the Hungarian history, it is worth knowing it.
