Academic Conference on Economic Security

Abstract

An academic conference was organized by the Ministry for National Economy (NGM) on the comprehensive concept of the defensive preparation and secure operation of the national economy, currently being under preparation. The representatives of the defence organisational units of the various ministries, of the organizations of defence administration responsible for the defensive preparation of the national economy, as well as of several other concerned departments of the NGM attended the conference. Invitation was also accepted by the representatives of the Department of Logistics, Finance and Defence Economy of the Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University (ZMNE), of the Information Technology Foundation of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA), of the Association of Hungarian Logistics Supply Centres and of the Defence Industry Association of Hungary. The keynote speech titled “War, economic security, defence reservation” was delivered by Dr. László Király, CSc, vice-president of the Hungariann Association of Military Science.
