Decline of the economic superiority of the United States of America as a consequence of the global crisis

Abstract

The American dominance based on the military strength of the USA and on the dollar as world currency seems to be shaken as a consequence of the global financial crisis. In its consequence a new sharing of power may start. The current financial crisis hits of course equally also the well developed countries beside the developing ones. Nowadays, through the different political, economic, social and not at last cultural structure of the regions, such a new era can start, in which Asia and within it China can become a financial power center then a great power. America realizing the change of balance of power, attempts to adapts to adapt to the established situation, in order to keep its economic and political dominance. The aim of writing this article is to provoke thoughts on the possible future changes of the world- power relaitons.
