Water security problems in Hungary in comparison with EU and world tendencies

Abstract

Hungary has an exceptional case in reference to the water management: the country possesses considerable water resources however they are rather vulnerable and above that, 90% of them are originated from outside the country. Water-resource management that is based on water arriving from abroad has significant risks.
