The Asymmetric Warfare

Abstract

The Hungarian Association of Military Science, the Military Science Commitee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the National University of Public Service organised a conference titled „Asymmetric Warfare” on 12 November 2014. In the military section during the afternoon it became clear that the many adjectives used to describe this sort of war is rather annoying for most participants. Based on the writings of certain classics this article has the aim to clarify and then deliver an explanation for the reasons of this multiplicity.
