Logistic tasks of the operation of Hunor professional heavy urban search and rescue team

Abstract

Twentieth century is known for being the century of disasters. In the twenty-first century disasters are proved to be more and more intense, their effects reach farther, and they demand more complex interventions. Voluntary rescue teams have in the mitigation of the consequences of disasters greater and greater importance. In this article the authors attempt to draw attention to the significance of HUNOR professional rescue team within voluntary rescue team’s organisations by analysing the logistic tasks of its operation and exploring its logistics support system.
