Guidelines for the modernization of the tactical infocommunication networks of the Hungarian Defense Forces

Abstract

In the 21st century, the role of information flow in combat activities is unquestionable. The nations are going through military modernization processes, which periodically appear to be a challenge for the Hungarian Defense Forces as well. As a member of NATO, some of the developments are formulated by federal requirements. Prepared for the dynamically changing information environment, several processes are present in the military’s modernization of Hungary. The problem can be assessed in the deficient areas, and by it the future tactical capabilities can be forecasted. The implementation of infocommunications support is an important element in the development of the capabilities of the armed forces.
