Abstract

Hervay Ferenc Levente (Pater Levente) was a Hungarian Cistercian of international significance. He studied the European and Hungarian history of the Cistercian order. His publications in the international scientific literature contributed essentially to the recognition of Hungarian history and ecclesiastic culture.
