Abstract

This study discusses first the ancient Mesopotamian considerations while diagnosing skin diseases, and secondly presents the related therapeutic measures. The first part deals with relevant lexical, diagnostic and physiognomic descriptions while identifying the typical guidelines of the Mesopotamian dermatology. The second part focuses on therapeutic prescriptions as a part of healing practices.
