The cost estimation of a middle-term Hungarian pension reform

Abstract

I have recently published several middle-term Hungarian pension reforms, but not having detailed data, I have been remiss in estimating the costs. This paper tries to make up partially for this deficiency. Unfortunately, I do not have any access to professional Hungarian pension models, I therefore run the estimations through my own elementary models. In the Appendix, I present the costs of an alternative pension reform proposed by the OECD.
