Article review: Public health strategy – a review
Abstract
National public health strategies are comprehensive, complex documents designed to promote the health and well-being of a country's population. According to the WHO (WHO, 2023), these strategies play a key role in shaping a country's vision, political direction, and priorities for action. Their aim is not only to prevent or treat diseases, but also to reduce social inequalities, promote healthy lifestyles and respond to emerging public health challenges.
