Abstract

The purpose of this article is to introduce the public health system and health promotion organizations of Hungary. In the article, we briefly describe the main role of the various public administration levels and organizations in the public health system, present the relevant strategies and legislation affecting the development and functioning and summarize the tasks and activities of organizations operating at national, county and community level.
