The analyses of the implementation of disaster management tasks related to the air transportation of dangerous goods

Abstract

Hungary joined to the Chicago Agreement at 1969, our country proclaim the Agreement at 1971. The Act on air transportation (1995. XCVII.) of allows to the Hungarian Disaster Management organisation to control the air transportation activities involving dangerous goods from 1-th of January in 2012. After that the Governmental Decree N. 313/2014. (XII.12.) coming into force on 1-st of January 2015 consists the specific rules and tasks of the Disaster Management Organisation relevant to the inspection of dangerous goods air transportation activities. The authority contain the preparation of dangerous goods for transportation, the incoming dangerous goods conveyance, and finally the dangerous goods handling activities at the territory of the airport. These article’s aim is to oversee and analyse the Disaster Management Organisation’s implementation experiences linked with the relevant Hungarian regulation.
