Situation of industrial safety training and direction of its developement in the training system of the Disaster Management Training Centre (DMTC)

Abstract

The study purpose is to provide an insight into the current industrial safety related educational system and the direction of its development and modernization. The Civil Protection and Industrial Safety Unit of DMTC is responsible for industrial safety knowledge education. The study shows the trainings of the DMTC which all of them require diverse range of competities from the teachers. For the transfer of these, in addition to the teaching staff preparedness the other essential requirement is the participation of external lecturers with practical skills. Also important the on-the-spot implementation of practical tasks and method of controls, and processing of these on outsourced internships.
