Network analysis in the field of public health – review
Abstract
The aim of this publication is to review the opportunities and experiences of using network science in the field of public health, and to encourage professionals and researchers to use this method as widely as possible. The reviewed publications prove that this new method has a place in modern public health, the results of network analyses can be used to help public health professionals to understand health behaviour more, therefore, to plan more effective public health interventions.
