The way we were geology students at the Eötvös University, Budapest in the 1960’s

Abstract

The author started his geology studies, together with his classmates, at the Eötvös Loránd University 60 year ago. Looking back now to those times, he gives a record on the education by remembering professors, teachers, subjects, practicals, field exercises, and last but not least, geology student life in Budapest in the 1960’s. This is a tribute to the university as institution and teaching community.
