Abstract

Miksa Hantken’s material legacy, which includes the fossils he has collected and his remaining unpublished works, is also a very significant spiritual legacy that still exists today. The surviving memories of his wide-ranging scientific activities also serve as help and guidance to contemporary researchers in their work. The most complete Hantken bibliography compiled by Koch in 1894 has been refined and supplemented with 22 papers. The lists of the taxa established by Hantken and the taxa named after him are provided.
