Abstract

The long-standing confusion between the concepts of sexual health and sexual well-being has reduced the possibility of effective solutions to everyday sexual problems and issues.

The key elements of sexual well-being are safety, respect, self-respect, resilience, forgiveness, comfort, and self-determination.
